The Vision Takes Flight
Luna was founded with a mission to revolutionize healthcare logistics in Kenya. We recognized that thousands of Kenyans in remote areas face critical delays in receiving medical supplies due to poor road infrastructure. By leveraging drone technology, we set out to bridge this gap and save lives through faster, more reliable delivery systems.
Prototype Development & Testing
We began developing and testing various drone prototypes designed specifically for Kenya's diverse terrain and weather conditions. Our team experimented with different configurations to optimize payload capacity, flight range, and reliability. Through rigorous field testing in coastal regions, highlands, and rural areas, we refined our designs to ensure they can handle the unique challenges of healthcare logistics delivery.
Progress Towards Regulatory Approval
Luna officially registered as a company and began the comprehensive registration process with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA). We are working diligently to meet all requirements for obtaining our Remote Air Operator Certificate, including pilot certification, safety protocols, and operational standards. This crucial step ensures Luna operates with the highest levels of safety and compliance as we prepare for commercial operations.
Commercial Operations Launch
With BVLOS certification secured, Luna will launch commercial drone delivery operations across Kenya. We'll partner with healthcare facilities, county governments, and logistics providers to deliver critical medical supplies to remote communities within 15-45 minutes. Our goal is to serve hundreds of health facilities, reducing stockouts, improving healthcare access, and ultimately saving lives through faster, more reliable medical supply delivery.

We're just getting started. Our vision extends beyond prototypes and testing - we're building a comprehensive drone logistics network that will serve healthcare facilities across Kenya.
